A RARE .44 (RIMFIRE) SINGLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'SINGLE-ACTION ARMY', serial no. 732,
manufactured between 1875-1880 and in its own serial number range, with 7 1/2in. barrel signed by the maker, 'bullseye' ejector-rod, solid frame void of patent markings, the cylinder arbor held by a front-mounted frame-screw, fluted six-shot cylinder, iron grip-straps and trigger-guard, the left hand side at rear marked '.44 CAL', smooth ivory grips (worn with amateur cross hatching), refinished in antiquity
